Since the nature of our business is a bit alien to most business people, we have created this basic guidance document as an attempt to help you wrap your brain around the selection of successful covert operations candidates.

A covert operative such as a Dark Lord or Mind Slayer requires some special personality traits and mental abilities. Although the methods exposed below will probably not sound very scientific, they are the result of recruiting successful candidates for over 25 years. Let’s get started.

Personal Identity
We have discovered over the years that there are two types of identity: professional and recreational. A quick look on a Twitter profile (or other social media profile) will usually tell you who you are dealing with.

If the profile starts, “Mother of 5, devoted wife and internet marketing guru”, then you have found a recreational identity. This person is all about who they are away from work or career.

If the profile starts, “Manager of operations for ___, avid people watcher, cynic …” then you have found a “professional” profile.

The easiest way to tell is this: recreational people talk about who they are to other people. Professional people talk about what they do. It really is that easy. We begin by assessing how the prospective recruit has created their identity. We seek professional identities. Recreational identities have proven to be a poor investment when it comes to covert operations. They tend to quit and pursue their other interests.

Looks and physical traits
Let me be clear here, 450 pound guys do not tend to make good operatives. Covert operations is all about thinking on your feet, paying minute attention to detail while not losing the big picture and having the ability to get people to feel at ease around you.

Although you do not have to be a super model, you should seek out people with a pleasant appearance that are in fair shape. They can be a bit overweight, but should not have thrown health away in their pursuit of junk food. Those people make better clerks and intelligence analysts – behind the scenes people.

The truth is, people are more comfortable around nice looking, pleasant people. Use this to your advantage and you will find huge success with your program.

Another rule when it comes to looks that we have discovered is this: the more athletic people tend to be more competitive, active in their careers and more aggressive. These are good traits for a covert operative.

Mental Skills
You don’t have to be a genius to be a good covert operative, but it helps. These people will need to memorize details quickly (we train that skill) and will need to multi-task their thinking. For instance, when they are persuading others, they need to be able to think about their persuasion activity and be able to listen/interact with the audience they are affecting.

The most tell tale trait here is the ability to carry on a clear and reasonably fast paced conversation. They should be able to keep up and contribute value to the conversation. They should seem “mentally sharp” or “bright”.

Personal Interests
This is a big one. The potential recruit should be interested in psychology, hypnosis, mind-control and/or spies. They should have a passion for being the best at what they do and crave abilities that are not for the “common man”. To put it bluntly, covert operatives tend to be a bit elitist. It is this specific trait that will prevent them from divulging confidential information even under torture.

Dark Lords and Mind Slayers are part of a very elite brotherhood and should take considerable pride in this. It is also a great way for you to control them because of your relationship as a sponsor, you have a direct line of communications with their brotherhood.

Lifestyle
This one is tricky. The candidate should want a rich lifestyle, but should not be out of control with it. It is easy for a Mind Slayer to pass their covert income off as an “Internet business” and we will show them how to set that up. We call it a “cover income” and it is a great excuse for them to live above their “pay level”. Basically, they work and support you, and they are paid as a regular employee. They get a second “compensating check” that is direct deposited for their covered operations. The compensating check is direct deposited into another account of theirs. Pay your spies well and you won’t regret it.

Commitment and Loyalty
Needless to say, you don’t want to train one of these people every six months. We suggest at least a three year contractual agreement if not longer. The right person will agree to a long term contract and will sincerely desire to deliver value to your organization.

Other matters
The recruit that you send for either Dark Lord or Mind Slayer training will be educated in corporate intelligence, personal combat and psychological manipulation skills as a minim course of study. They will be immersed in 45 days of training (six times for a Dark Lord) and will walk out of our programs ready to do their job. Dark Lords are trained incrementally so that they can implement the changes required in a natural progression. They have access to coaches throughout their program period and afterwards if they choose. Mind Slayers have access to coaches for 12 consecutive months or longer if they choose.

Additional coaching occurs through membership in one of our membership community programs.

Your Commitment
As a President or CEO, you must be committed to the program structure as outlined in “Dark Lords – The Power Within” if you desire the revenue and growth that a covert operation offers. As such, you will probably end up with several Mind Slayers critically positioned inside of your ranks and at least one Dark Lord serving you and your staff. This takes a commitment from you and enforcement of that commitment on your staff. Your Dark Lord will be able to help you strategize a process to get your staff under your power. After all, you will be the ruling crown royal of your organization soon.

You will be working closely with your Dark Lord and should be comfortable with them. They will be your dirty little secret and your shadow warrior when you need things to happen behind the scenes. They will interact with your Mind Slayers and keep all covers in place so that you and your people are protected.

Sustainability in the real world
When people talk about sustainability on the Internet, they are usually talking about environmental sustainability. But did you know that environmental sustainability is only one-third of the total sustainability equation?

For all of you that have put up with my rants over the last few months, I’m going to do something that really isn’t out of character – just not something I do very often. I’m going to give away a huge amount of information for FREE. This blog is a bit long but hopefully helpful.

Sustainability in the real world
When people talk about sustainability on the Internet, they are usually talking about environmental sustainability. But did you know that environmental sustainability is only one-third of the total sustainability equation?

That’s right. You cannot obtain environmental sustainability until the craving for resource consumption is diminished in society. This craving originates in the beliefs and minds of each individual in the social structure of a community, nation and global population. Economic sustainability is also required and here by “economic” I mean not just money, but “wealth” as it applies to resource attraction and distribution. That includes knowledge and a myriad of other categories.

The environmental side of sustainability is the easiest to see, but focusing on it as a cure is like trying to treat malnutrition by rubbing cream on the skin. The cream may make things look a bit better, but it certainly won’t stop the organs from failing.

The human world is comprised of individual beliefs. A community is built upon shared or common beliefs and that is the foundation for society. Society uses resources to survive and those resources are consumed, converted, and in some cases replaced.

For any system to be “sustainable”, it must be able to balance its resource consumption and conversion with replacement and recycling. By recycling here, I do not mean “cans, plastic and paper”, but by being aware of the byproducts of consumption and conversion processes and their positive and negative impacts on the larger resource base or environment.

With this in mind, we have a situation that looks like this currently:

Current Conditions

To solve the sustainability issue, the conditions need to look more like this:

Yes, that is a big difference because we are talking about a global scale, but change starts in an individual’s head first and spreads into their community, then into society at large.

Your inner world is made up of “mind sets” – literally beliefs that you either adopted from exposure to people around you or from you own reasoning. On a global scale, the majority of the population (roughly 83% based on statistical data) have these mindsets:

1.Religious authority – A specific religious identification and collection of personal rituals.
2.Identity – In this group, it is a poverty mindset based on “entitlement” and unrealistic expectations and misplaced trust.
3.Leadership authority – The belief that those “in charge” have their best interests at heart and even if they didn’t they are powerless to change things.
4.Change Aversion – Any kind of disruption of the world around them is bad. Things should stay the same forever and taking personal action to make positive change is a last resort.
5.Near sighted view – We only live for about 100 years and who cares if mankind lives past that. All of our thoughts are based on what I/Me wants and not on what is best for our biological kind – our species – in the long run. “It’s not my problem” indicates a mentality of entitlement and disconnection with the long term concern for survival of the human species.
6.Finding an excuse is easier than finding a solution – This group of people will exhaust every bit of their energy trying to tell us how they “cannot do” something. The other 17% will ask “How do I” do it. This one difference represents the main boundary between the poor and the affluent. This boundary is the belief that this 17% is not entitled to anything and they must act to make change and bring their goals closer. They do not make excuses and do make change happen.

From here, the mindset collection tends to become more egocentric. To put this in a easier to manage perspective, this 83% population is focused entirely on “I/ME” when they view their world. The other 17% are focused on “kingdom expansion” as a process and will readily sacrifice the I/Me comfort for the greater group. As an interesting result, this 17% is also the richest population.

Wealthy people do not have a problem with implementing sustainability. In fact, most of them already have made huge efforts in this area. Their houses are insulated and filled with energy efficient appliances, their lighting has been replaced with low energy bulbs and they have in many cases made changes to their heating and power supplies. Money isn’t an obstacle for them, so they just did it. That takes care of about 9% of the population. Another 8% have sustainable modifications on their list, but “haven’t had the time” to implement them yet. As for the rest of the 83%, well some have done a great job, and others are full of excuses.

If you think one corporate jet is the cause of global warming, take a look at what all those cars on the road produce each day. Who’s the biggest offender, the corporate jet that will be at its destination in 3 hours carrying 8 people or the string of traffic in front of you driving 45 minutes each way (to and from work) five days a week?

Back to mindsets
I will not address the religion mindset because you have already made up your mind there and it would be counter productive to discuss. Number 2 is Identity. Right now, there are two main kinds of identity that I will propose: Those who “have”, and those who “have not”.

The “have” people (H) do not believe in entitlement and do not expect anyone to do anything for them unless they deliver value to the other(s) first. The “have not’s” (HN) believe that just because they ‘show up’ they should be given consideration, and anything else they want. Yes I’m being harsh here, but a direct approach that shows the contrast is very fast when addressing this kind of topic.

H people build on their skills and knowledge every day and work at making connections with other people – creating bigger groups of people that believe in their goals and dreams. HN people isolate themselves and do not like to share their dreams. They will talk about them, but do not like others to benefit from their “vision”. If the HN does share, it is only with a set of close friends or relatives. The H people believe that if you add value to the progress toward their goals, then you are welcome. The H people aggressively defend their circle of supporters from negative influence. In fact, the H people tend to try and avoid negative thinking and negative people all together.

The HN people tend toward looking for the negatives in a situation. They use the negatives to justify their fear and inaction. They expect to fail and will go to great measures to ensure failure. Fear and uncertainty rules their mind and doubt is their core decision tool.
When faced with the opportunity to become sustainable, their first responses are:
1.I don’t know you.
2.I don’t trust you.
3.I can’t afford to.
4.I don’t believe you.
5.Leave me alone.

Ask anyone in sales and you’ll hear the same “objections” that they have to address at each sales call. Consider this, if it were not for TV and Radio, most people would not have heard of Donald Trump. In fact, unless you lived in NYC you would not have known about him at all – even after his first book was released. Without the media you would not know about him.

Most affluent people do not invest in individual publicity, they invest in publicity that helps their causes grow. You probably haven’t heard of any of the 17% of the wealthiest people and probably won’t until you are in that income group. The wealthy learn about each other by networking, not by news.

Just because you don’t know me (Paul McDowell) doesn’t mean that I can’t help you or that the company behind me cannot solve 98% of your problems if you would let it. It just means that we have not met before. But chances are, you haven’t met Donald Trump either.

As for Trust, trust is earned on both sides. I reach out with my hand and offer it to you, will you take it? If you were in a burning building, would you take a hand out? If you were in shark infested waters, would you accept help onto the safety of a boat? You have to extend your hand too or the brief opportunity to change your conditions will be extended to someone else and you will be left to burn or be eaten.

“I work hard every day and have nothing to show for it at the end of the week.” I can’t afford “help” from you. Sounds like you can’t afford not to get help. If you are working hard and not experiencing a positive change, you don’t have what it takes to fix the problem alone. You need a hand up and that means you will have to reach out to get it.

Belief is an internal thing. It happens in your head. You can strengthen the belief that you cannot be helped or you can strengthen the belief that help is all around you, you only need to accept it. It is your belief that limits you and keeps you poor. The good news is that since belief is a mental thing, you can simply change your mind and the belief changes with it.

As for the last item, “Leave me alone.”, well you are born connected to your mother and you die alone. Unless you really want to die or kill your opportunity – miss the chance to regain your happiness and achieve your dreams – prevent a life of poverty and suffering from being yours, then you need allies. You need an inner circle of friends that will share and contribute to your happiness as you do to theirs.

It is this sharing that builds a successful community around you and raises you up from the bottom. As an individual against the world, you have little power. As a community of successful, happy people, you have tremendous power. Make your choice and change your life.

There is an amazing process to obtain this quickly called the “golden key” that has been the family secret of the wealthiest families for literally thousands of years. You are welcome to explore it if you like.
With wealth out of the way, and community building, then we are in a place to address the issues surrounding environmental sustainability. When our social connections are in support of our beliefs and our wealth can be allocated toward our goals, then the issue of obtaining the items needed becomes non-existent. You simply get the items and have them installed.

Value is the driving concern of the wealthy. Does the proposed goods or services solve the problem that they are facing? If so, what is the return on their investment (ROI – usually measured in dollars over time)? If the return (replenishment of resources) is acceptable, then the solution is sustainable and has value. If not, then the solution is a resource drain and has low or no value. This kind of thinking is sustainable in itself as it requires a used or allocated resource to be replaced before it is depleted or depletes other resources.

I cannot express how important your mental states play in this. If you are poor and feel that there is no hope, then you will not be motivated to change and will not care if humans live or die as a species. You will simply not care. Your problems are bigger than you are and you don’t need everyone else’s problems on your hands.

If you wake up every morning looking to find new friends that will become part of what you are building, people that can benefit along side of you, then you will see hope and opportunity around every corner and want the success to be shared with everyone that is willing to contribute to it. Now and forever if possible.

It’s all in the mind – your mind. Think about that.

Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki endorsed network marketing together in a book called:” Why We Want You to Be Rich”. Robert Kyosaki knows what you should do to establish your family’s income for generations. Donald Trump is launching “the Trump Network” where regular people can become network marketers and enjoy the power of using his name.
The Affluent are reaching out to the Effluent every day, but the Effluent (poverty minds) are not taking their hand. Think about that next time you cry for tax increases and bad-mouth corporations.
Online, you will find hundreds of mentors, coaches and consultants all trying to show people a better, more successful way of doing things. Yes, there are frauds online. There are frauds in the community you live in too. People you see every day that you just walk by. People that act in a way that is not true to who they are.
Online there are hundreds of network marketing people (MLM) trying to get you to join their organization and make money too. Yes, they will get a percentage of your sales. Yes you may need to put some money up front to get in on their opportunity. Yes there is risk. Yes many times you will not make any money at all. Let’s look at this last problem – why you don’t make any money at all:
I have people in my organization called “Protégés”. These people want to become Affluent but lack the means to do so through one of our coaching programs. So, I put them to work. Where do you think they begin? That’s right – Sales.
Yes, I may be a horrible person bent on making them compromise their soul to learn business. Then again, I may just be a good coach that knows how to open the world of business to them. I have said this before, but I’m going to repeat it here, “I have never met an affluent person that didn’t know how to sell and didn’t have an alpha personality”. Communication and leadership are two of the pillars that a successful business is built upon and they are critical if you want to become affluent.
“Sales” is not “forcing someone to buy things they don’t need”. Sales is identifying a person/business’s need and then determining if what you have fits the need or solves their problem. “Sales” is a verb when done correctly. You do not have to lie (you better not) and you really should know that what you are selling is a good fit.
I know that “Elite Success and Business Strategies” are needed because I have observed many companies and people that don’t have them. I see what they face and how much of a struggle every day is for them. I also see how short of a time it takes for them to become successful and begin developing amazing wealth once they get a good coach and start following the steps given them.
You will never find a legitimate method to wealth that is free. No one that understands wealth and how to build it will give it to you. That’s not because they are greedy, it is because they know that you will not follow some free advice or discount program. If you did anything at all, you would do two of five steps and make up the rest yourself. And you would fail and blame them.
Gaining wealth starts with acknowledging that you really don’t know it all. That there are people that have led the way before you and that some of them can and will help you get there too. There really is not finite amount of money out there. No “Fair share” that you are entitled to or limited by. Wealth expands as it needs. Not one wealthy person will lose a penny for making you wealthy too – unless you do not participate in your own growth. Then that is charity, not mentoring.
Simple method to becoming wealthy – change these beliefs:
1.	Good people are poor. WRONG!
2.	There is no way to change your life. WRONG!
3.	You were born poor and will die poor. Maybe, it’s up to you.
4.	Going to school and getting a degree will guarantee you a good job. WRONG!
5.	No one will help you. WRONG!
6.	A good job will make you wealthy. WRONG!
I’ll stop there for now. People are told from the time they are very young, “Get a good education, get a degree, and get a good job and you will live a good life.” That advice is coming from people that never really obtained their dreams using the methods they gave you. They gave you advice based on wrong beliefs.
Let me explain it another way. In our Golden Key Coaching program, we use a kingdom map to reveal the processes that kings and queens, emperors and empress’ used to build huge kingdoms in the old world – methods used today by the biggest companies and richest families.
You build knowledge and dream about what you want to be when you grow up. In school, you study subjects that increase your knowledge and maybe dabble in what interests you for a job. You may go to college, maybe not. Either way, you seek a career doing what you liked. Here’s where it gets tough…
If you can impress and literally “win over” the people you meet in your application and interview process, then you may get a shot at trying your new career on for size. Your chances improve greatly if you understand how to communicate your enthusiasm and knowledge and can make them feel what working with you would be like. If that all turned out well, you would get the job.
At this point, you haven’t shown anyone what you can really “do”. All you have done is discover if what you can give is what they need and sold them on it. Next you will have to demonstrate your skill.
A career is what we “do”. The actions we take that produce either a product or service. Our knowledge level determines the level we can perform our career actions and is a mix of subject matter and processes. Our associates are the co-workers and other people we interact with directly. These three things determine our success in the career we have chosen.
Notice I didn’t mention wealth? You can be the best at doing and know more than anyone else at your company, and even have the respect of your peers and still die broke or in debt. That happens every day.
So, career and education will not make you wealthy. You have been lied to by well meaning people – people that lived their own advice. The best of them are living a diminishing lifestyle in a world where their finances diminish each day. Inflation eats away at their savings and foolish market management steals their 401Ks.
There are nine areas to understand before you can build a lasting and successful kingdom. A total of 72 processes are at work. Can you begin to see the benefit behind having someone that knows those processes and can guide you every step of the way to the goal- Your goal?
Poor people want to “do it alone”. The wealthy know you can’t do much alone. You need strong alliances and reliable helpers. You need people that can see your vision and want to be part of it. They know that if they had the help of someone that has already been there, they can get there too, and in far less time.
The wealthy ask, “How can I?” “Who do I need to know?” These and a bunch of other questions lead to processes that can actually deliver on your needs in record time.
That’s all for the free advice in this article. If you really want to become free, I suggest you get a mentor, coach or some kind of program that will teach you the basics.
What is really keeping measurable success from happening in the world of sustainable living? Are the issues economic or technical, political or mental? Discover the most controversial view out there from Paul McDowell, President of a corporation that is a leader in sustainability training and services.

“I Can’t…”
“It’s not my fault!”
“Rich people are evil”
“Corporations are the devil himself”
“I deserve more…”
“It costs too much!”

People, if you find yourself using these terms – you have a serious problem. These language patterns indicate that you have a “poverty mindset” and that mindset will keep you poor for life.

It is a mindset that looks for excuses and blame. Many people in this category believe that “good people don’t have money. That is a sign of their purity”. What a load of crap! Good people are generous. If you have nothing, you cannot be generous. Good people take actions that aid their community and its residents. How many poor people have sponsored a library or child’s wing on a hospital? How many poor people regularly donate more than $1000 to their local charities? What’s good about being poor?

What I have observed, being poor is good for being able to say, “I can’t because I’m poor.” “Everyone takes advantage of me.” “I’ve worked the same job for 10 years and haven’t had a major pay increase. “ “I won’t take a class that helps me at work unless my company pays for it and pays me for the hours I’m doing it.”

That is “entitlement mindset.” Here’s the other side of the coin, “I like Larry. He’s been with us for 10 years and we would love to help him grow with our company. He does his job ok, but it’s the same job he started with here 10 years ago. It’s an entry level job and he’s making $2.50 an hour more than what the job is worth to us. We’ve offered him training, but he’s never taken us up on it. Unfortunately, we’ll have to replace him with someone that is an entry level employee at entry level wages. I’ll miss Larry. “

Who’s taking advantage of who?
If that last thought makes you upset, you should look at why. We offer a number of coaching and certification programs. All come with a 100% money back guarantee because we know they work. We offer people additional bonuses (in one case $90,000 worth of 1 on 1 coaching) if they act now. Most don’t. I wanted to know why and the overwhelming reply was that “it sounded too good to be true.”

If Donald Trump had a chance to pick up $90,000 as a bonus for acting now on something he needed, he would call that a huge opportunity, and be delighted at his cleverness for acting on it.

I offer those bonuses because I know from experience that those people succeed to greater levels and are generally much more fun to work with on a coaching program. They get excited and do their work. They listen and act. They don’t wait for permission or put off the offer until it is no longer extended.

Think about this…
If someone said they would give you $90,000 to go to college, would you take it? That’s about 90% of the cost of a Bachelors degree. You would still have to come up with a minimum of $10,000 on your own to finish it. You have no guarantee that the degree would give you a job when you graduate and you have no idea even if you will finish it. You bank on hoping these things will happen.

Now, let’s look at another case: You have the chance to get $90,000 worth of sponsored time where you can work alongside of someone who is successful and knows business. You get 72 weeks of intensive training and real world applications – every week – while you learn that actually moves you toward your goals. If for any reason you decide it isn’t working for you or you are no longer interested, you get every penny you put into the learning program back with no questions asked. All you need to do is come up with $5000 (the price for the coaching program)

If you went to college for the same period, you would have spent around $12,000 and still not earned a degree, or for that matter, even learned enough to even get a part time job in your career specialty.

Which provides a better value? The one with the smaller price tag, complete guarantee and ability to immediately help you begin to obtain a better lifestyle – or the one that costs more, has no guarantee and delivers nothing usable in the same period of time? If you chose the second option (degree) then there is no hope for you. You will spend your life as an economic slave and die in debt. Your world will be one of lost dreams and missed opportunities. But of course, it will be everyone else’s fault.

If you think I’m being harsh here – you would be correct. Poverty is curable if the poor will cooperate. Never say “I can’t.” Instead ask “How can I?” Use that wrinkled grey tissue you have your head full of. Explore the options. Talk to people and see if they have ideas or can help. Get a bigger dream and go after it.

Most people afflicted with “poverty mind” are lost in despair, anxiety and fear. They refuse to act and refuse to listen.

When an affluent person or one of their protégés approach them, they can’t believe that anyone would stoop to their level and offer a chance to find freedom. They almost always say, “That sounds like a scam.” I always look at them and say, “That sounds like an excuse.” If you are willing to accept second best, then you deserve it. If you want the cheapest things in life, you deserve them. If you don’t want to make money so you can give yourself and those around you a better world, then you deserve poverty.

If you are willing to act – improve your knowledge and life – then you deserve the best life can offer. The wealthy do not get rich by hording money, pushing people away and complaining all the time. They acquire wealth by making strong friendships and alliances, gathering resources and applying them toward a vision that large groups of people can share in. That is not greed – that is sharing. Greed is when only one small group benefits and no one else. Greed is when a person works the same entry level job for 10 years and expects to be paid as much as the employee that worked their way into management through hundreds of hours of study, night classes and mentoring.

Greed is when you think you are “entitled” to something without having to do anything to get it. The Affluent despise poverty. That is why they try to avoid it and all of its logos so aggressively. It is why people like Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki reach out so passionately with their books and other talents – they want to cure this disease. They know you may not be a billionaire, but they hope you will at least be able to have what you need and not have to struggle. Most Affluent want that for you.

When one of us tries to give a small businessman/woman who is working 80 hours a week and barely keeping the doors open some advice, they usually argue. They think they “Know everything they need to.” LOOK AT WHAT YOU ARE DOING! If you are having to work that hard and barely getting buy, you are stupid if you think you know how to do business. Get a mentor or coach now, before it is too late. You probably have most of what you need to succeed, and just don’t know that last few pieces that deliver success. Continuing to work that hard and doing the same things will only make you ill and kill your business. Be smart.

THE REAL OBSTACLE POVERTY BRINGS
If you are wondering where the “sustainability piece” comes in, here it is. Affluent people live sustainable lives. They donate huge amounts of money to green and ECO movements worldwide, they donate and volunteer on boards and lobby for change. They live lives where time is their most valuable asset and their “social circles” are a close second. Every time the poor support higher taxes, more restrictions or other penalties on the wealthy, the donations stop, jobs are cut and problems get worse.

If you think one corporate jet is going to tip the CO2 scale and change global warming, then you sincerely haven’t looked at who’s driving all those cars surrounding you on the freeway. They are filled with everyday hourly and lower salaried workers on their way to/from work or commuting to some family event (soccer or such). Many of them only have one or two people in the car. How many of them are pickups or SUVs? How many Affluent people do you see on the road with you? Who’s the problem?

Yes, a nice Ferrari only gets about 19 MPG. If you have seen more than a dozen of them on the road, you’re probably living in an area filled with new affluent (people from the bottom that are just beginning to live a great lifestyle and want to play a bit).

Many Affluent have completely refit their homes to be more energy efficient:
•	EnergyStar appliances
•	Solar hot water and power
•	Geothermal primary heat
•	Fully Insulated walls and attic
•	Landscaped yards (water and Eco-friendly benefits)
•	Energy efficient lighting

What have you done? I know, you “can’t afford to do all of that.” You’re too “poor” or “under paid.” Next time you catch yourself complaining about how “Evil” the Affluent are, consider what we have discussed here.

The problem with poverty

Throughout history, there have been people with the desire to own others. Hungry with greed and burning with anger, they set out to conquer the prosperous and poor alike. Driven by ego and fueled by an insatiable hunger for more, they employ 3 tools to own their victims mind:

FEAR, UNCERTAINTY AND DOUBT
Fear of change and of unfamiliar people
Uncertainty about the future
Doubt as an automatic reflex action

If they can cut you off from reason and people that can help you escape – they can own you.
These three weapons have been used on you to repress your economic status and beliefs. They are propagated through the news, religion and the use of the “legal system. “ They rely on a simple principle to control you.

People will give up their freedom for security – The illusion of safety – and the tyrants know it!

There is a kinder kind of tyranny used in “developed countries” than in the lesser developed “third world” countries. It works like cooking a frog. To keep the frog from realizing what is going on, you turn up the heat slowly and in small increments, until the frog is unable to leap out, then you turn up the heat all the way.

The sudden increase in heat is noticed by the frog, but it is too drained by the already unbearable heat that it cannot muster up enough strength to jump.

I’m not trying to hint at some kind of “conspiracy theory” here. That suggests an organized effort and that is much more difficult to pick out of the chaos. Any pattern is lost in the many conflicting agendas of the tyrants and tyrant wannabes.

The result is people terrified to act. People giving in to a life well below the one they deserve and fearing any kind of “disruption” that can set them free. In our interactions with people in the sales world, we have found that the biggest block they throw up to helping them is the “I don’t know you” block. My Protégé’s will reply with that by saying, “At your income level, you wouldn’t.” It is not meant as an insult, but is a truth. The Affluent live in a different world then the working class.

They do not rely on “news agencies” to tell them who’s who. They use their network to get recommendations of who to call for the things they need. When someone is suddenly increasing their wealth, they want to know why and who’s behind it. They don’t open a phone book or even INC magazine. They pick up the phone or send an email. This is why you may not have heard of Dr. Paul McDowell or Padma Gonpo, Inc. We have been serving the affluent and ultra affluent. As a business, we have not seen a “recession” or anything even looking like a bad economy because of our client demographic.

My first protégée convinced me to offer a solution to this problem to the general population back in December 2008. It was a coaching program that regularly sells for $250,000 and lasts 72 weeks (18 months). Not all of the program could be delivered to people on a “fixed budget” and certainly they could not afford the $250,000 to enroll in it. Those are serious business issues to overcome.
Knowing the dangerous “have-not” mentality and how it works also posed a huge marketing problem. You see, the “FUD” (Fear, uncertainty and doubt) process produces “have-nots” (economic slaves). They have not because they are so terrified to act that they “do not”. That significantly increases the cost of marketing and sales, and again reduces profits. This is why corporations have left the workforce to their own fate. Corporations are not “evil”, they are capitalistic – believing that reward is directly coupled to result. The working class desire a socialistic government and all its regulations, but cry loudly about the fact they cannot get ahead. Socialism makes everyone “equal” – at least in theory. There will always be people living with privileges, and those that suffer in a socialist system. The main difference is, in socialism, there is no escape. You are stuck where you are with no ability to build a life that overcomes the poverty. Literally NO FUTURE of HOPE.

It doesn’t have to be this way. We have worked with a number of people at the bottom of the economy and had tremendous results. Once they break the poverty mindset, that is. The path out is a fast one. The process that my protégées sell works for all levels of income and creates huge gains in prosperity. That is exactly what it is designed to do.

We have a society of affluent membership that has completed the coaching in this process. The society works to create prosperous “global kingdoms”. These are non-nationalistic trade societies where the affluent can interact and grow profits, spread prosperity to their people and increase the lifestyle for all they touch. They operate under a monarchy of business kings and queens. You will not find poverty in this body of membership – even the newest members.

The reason for all of this is simple. We know that educated, self-responsible people make good decisions. That costs us less as a global village and creates a world where problems can be solved. Our kings and queens are every bit as dedicated to their kingdoms as any “bloodline monarch” out there. They truly care about their “subjects” health and happiness, their families and all of the resources that are available to enrich their kingdom. Yes, they are corporations and corporate leaders. They will not force anyone to become a member of their kingdoms, and will not tolerate people that drain the wealth of the kingdom through negativity and ignorance. They will not allow tyrants in their kingdom.

A change of mind is all that is needed to lead a person from poor to the affluent life. You must cast off the fear, uncertainty and doubt, and tell the tyrants, “No thanks. I don’t want your rule.” Take control of your own mind and your own energy.
Ask yourself, “If You are not managing Your energy, Who is?”
Symptoms you are being managed by “someone” else:
•	No time
•	No money
•	Thinking “No one can help me”
•	Thinking “I know it all, but still can’t get ahead”
•	Believing “I have to get permission before I can decide…”
•	Thinking “I don’t want to be wealthy. Those people are evil.”
•	Telling yourself “I don’t trust anyone that says they know what I don’t”

The power of change is within your grasp. All you need to do is reach out and take it. Sure, it has risk. Change always does. But it also has reward. If you refuse to let go of the fear, you cannot make the change and will continue to be a “wage slave”, the poor caste. It’s a lifetime sentence to suffering and trapped existence. Only you can choose to act or to act not and that choice will determine if you have or have not.

Unless you’ve been under a rock this year, you’ve probably heard of sustainability. Many people believe that they already understand sustainability. Ask any of them if they would purchase even a low cost ($250) item from you, and they’ll tell you they don’t have the money. How sustainable is that? Very! They understand how to have sustained poverty . Great demonstration of sustainability.

Unfortunately, the definition I use (“a society that has a positive impact on the environment and itself”) doesn’t fit what they are doing. In my definition, you must end up with more next year than you have this year. This happens in three specific phases.

Done this way, in five years, you end up completely sustainable, (not relying on the power grid, commercial food production, or imports) have considerably more than you need to survive and can continue this way indefinitely.

Your monthly expenses are trivial compared to your standard of living and you can travel freely without having to worry about fuel costs or unreasonably steep car payments. My opponents will tell you this is not possible. But then again, it is the knowledge of how to accomplish these things that makes one an expert in sustainability. This knowledge comes from deep behind the curtain on the emerging sustainability industry.

So what do I know they don’t? How about 33 elements of sustainability that can only be discovered by looking back in time – into human history. These patterns do not emerge from a text book, but from a systematic analysis of cultures and social practices of the past. An advanced computer model that develops from collecting growth/failure/sustained growth statistics slowly identified these elements.

Additionally, 108 advanced elements were identified that leads to a “golden age”. This is the best it gets, and is usually where the society gets arrogant and abandons the practices that made it what it was in the first place. The death of sustainability usually only takes 2 generations from there.

If you don’t know the 33 elements, maybe you should. Missing knowledge is the easiest disease to cure. All you have to do is admit you don’t know, find those who do, and get the knowledge from them. What’s stopping you?

Anyone care to venture a guess as to what these 33 elements are? I’ll get you started by pointing you in a direction. In our consulting programs, we start our clients with an examination of what makes something of “true value”. It becomes the basis of our first steps toward sustainability. What would you say makes something of “ultimate value”?

Ok, since many of you keep asking “What is Padma Gonpo, Inc and what the hell does it mean?”, I thought that I would answer you.

Pagma Gonpo, Inc. It has a funny name, but so is Hemoglobin.

“Hemoglobin transports oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body where it releases the oxygen for cell use.” (wikipedia)

Life wouldn’t be as good without it, just like Padma Gonpo, Inc.

Padma (Tibetan: Lotus flower) Gonpo (Tibetan: Protector) is a name, and metaphor. The metaphor represents those few people in every age that have exactly what civilization needs to survive until the next age. It means “protecting society and the legacy it holds”.

In our age, it means “To create a world where society has a positive impact on the planet and itself.” This implies that we actually increase what is available to us tomorrow and to those future generations, so that they inherit a vast wealth, greater than what we have today. This can only happen when sustainable solutions are put into global practice.

You can say that Padma Gonpo, Inc. is a problem solving company. It researches, manufactures, consults, trains and certifies professionals in technologies that create a sustainable future. We use social media to hear what everyone needs, promote our message and make friends.

We are not all about organic food or recycling. Those are great starts but in themselves are not the total solution. The subject is much larger than that. To create sustainability, you cannot exclude any segment of society or its needs. It requires balancing people’s needs against available solutions. From there, we can research and implement better, more comprehensive solutions as they become available.

Tell a smoker not to smoke, and they want to smoke more just to defy you. Tell a Hummer owner that their vehicle is pure evil and they will fight you every step of the way. We don’t need more enemies. We need more friends.

Padma Gonpo, Inc. makes (among other things) 3 wheeled, Low Mass Vehicles (LMVs). Sales are very slow because they are “too different to be practical” in most people’s minds. Our models come with a full collision cage like combat aircraft use, driver and passenger front and side airbags, electric heat (before the engine is at temperature – for your comfort), considerably less cost of registration and insurance (they are classed as motorcycles in the USA) and they get between 125 and 225 miles to a gallon of fuel. “Too different to be practical”.

Now, consider this:

We are not out to replace the four wheeled family wagon that everyone piles into on the weekend, nor the pickup used for hauling. Those will still be needed, just not as often. 87% of the driving done in the USA involves commuting (1 to 2 people). These LMVs are a perfect fit for that kind of application, and they get exponentially better mileage and produce less emissions.

As you see, we have some work to do with people’s perceptions. This kind of apprehension is widespread when it comes to sustainability and green living, mostly because the people that have been pushing it, take a confrontational, “us vs. them” approach. People move to new beliefs faster if you can follow a clean, natural process that enables them to see the benefits in their lives for the change. Just because you “Say So” doesn’t motivate anyone.

Compromise is an important component to success when it comes to helping people discover how good life can be when bills are paid or eliminated, work is fun and the home environment is healthy and joyful. This is part of what we do too. We have consulting programs that guide people to a sustainable life and of course, have programs for business and other corporations.

We teach empowering technologies and skills to individuals including our “persuasion party” and our persuader’s club. Communication is a huge element in determining a person’s success. Unfortunately, most people suck at it. The persuasion part of our business addresses this and gives fun, powerful ways to communicate with people better and improve your daily life and the future it creates.

To summarize, Padma Gonpo, Inc. (the company with that funny Tibetan name) provides Total Sustainability Solutions to you and your family, community and government. We are a world leader in total sustainability and want to be your professional source of all things sustainable.

The Dark Lord of Industry Creation and Growth…

Sounds scary doesn’t it? Don’t worry, I won’t hurt you. You have enough curiosity to to brave the dark catacombs of industry and come here, so, you are all right in my book. Welcome.

I come from behind the scenes - a world where people are judged only on their skills. Skills to predict, plan, execute and deliver. Failure is not tolerated because the stakes are extremely high. This is the world of high end corporate strategy. A world populated by independent contractors and well trained individuals comprising astounding teams that influence the industries of the world. Sometimes they work for governments, sometimes for corporations and sometimes for the ideals of economic freedom and free enterprise.

Most have para-military training and are skilled in persuasion and a hand full of “hard skills.” Spycraft may or may not be part of them. These rare people work with intelligence analysts, researchers, private investigators and a wide assortment of other professions to get things done.

Why all the cloak and dagger? Have you ever tried to get someone to loan you $1,000.00? Imagine trying to connect hundreds of independent companies, a wealth of global resources and the ego’s of companies like those in the news now and get them to work together. Even for a moment? How else can it be accomplished? Historically, this has proven to be the only way.

The results are industries like nano-technology and Organic Foods. Not all industries are launched this way. Some are a fluke. They happen by chance and timing. The Personal Computer industry is an example of this. People were ready and the market just gelled around an “open source standard” that allowed many companies to make the components that went into that computer.

Other manufacturers of the time were proprietary. They wouldn’t share any information in an attempt to protect themselves from competition. That ultimately failed and they had to learn to be competitive anyway – and at a high cost on their part. The ones that failed to learn, went out of business or were forced to sell to a more market savvy company.

Men in Black, The unknown force of power!

It would be convenient if there was a “them” running things, but the truth is that there are small groups working more-or-less independently. An idea may come up and a few of the more experience people may discuss it among themselves. This may evolve into an operation that grows into an industry movement. It’s all done by researching needs, technologies and people, then influencing them to consider a direction to take (usually through a third party), series of staged news happenings and integrated market campaigns.

Normally one group proves to have a better strategy or more skillful people and their approach begins to take the lead. The other groups usually will pull in behind them and build on their process. No evil intent, just good strategy and an honest attempt at making change occur that will perpetuate the survival of things people need.

Of course, there are always exceptions to the rule here. Some individuals or families will play dirty to gain power. They want to be the “Kings of the World”, but that seldom is allowed to happen for very long. Normally, natural selection will catch the most visible animals. It is the well hidden that survive longest as predators or prey.

I have stepped back from this life of excitement and constant change and decided to take a more visible role in building a bright future for the world. It is with this intention that Padma Gonpo, Inc. was created. The work of the past is finally at a point where we can address the first stages of creating real sustainability. This part is exciting because this part involves you.

We are at the point in time when the Sustainability Industry needs someone to take the lead and bring it into the world at large. The first stage of this is creating a body of truly expert individuals. People that understand the whole picture of what sustainability is and how it is created. Padma Gonpo, Inc. is ready for this role.

Professional certification is an important part of any industry if it is to be able to sustain itself. Microsoft realized this and created the Microsoft certification programs that are a staple in the IT industry today.

They became a staple because they were focused on what the INDUSTRY NEEDED, not on what some tenured educator decided fit the ideal of the last book he wrote – An idea based in theory, not practice, or some university marketing board decided would sell the most enrollments. This ivory tower mentality has led to the devaluation of degree programs in the USA and is killing our ability to compete globally in critical economic areas.

I do not blame the teachers for this. Like most systems gone wrong, it is the self-serving elitists that undermine the original structure and single out those who are really trying to make a difference, while rewarding those who will follow them into the darkest of places.

Status Quo always end up here

The problem with the approach most schools and training companies are using to teach and certify people in sustainability is that their methods are not sustainable. They simply take what they have been selling all along and re-market it as sustainability and then raise the price. After all, being good should cost more, right?

Most sustainability and green living training courses out there are just a modified program from earlier programs. Such an example is the Sustainability Certification program from the IRC, you know the guys that brought you the ISO9000 quality programs? They took their quality program structure and revised it to to “fit the needs of the developing sustainability markets”. Read this to mean “to make us (the IRC and its friends) lots of money”. It’s business as usual.

If you have ever worked for a company that has undergone ISO 9000 certification, you understand how unsustainable that process becomes. Increasing the burden on a person or business does not make it more sustainable. It instead hampers efficiency and steals valuable resources.

Colleges like our “regulatory bodies” have taken preexisting programs and mixed them together with a few courses from other programs and now they sell this as “sustainability education.” Take an environmental degree and add a couple of international business classes and BANG, you have a Sustainability BA. It’s not enough.

These people are used to telling everyone who is qualified and who is not, based upon how much that particular company or group can profit from it. They will use every dirty trick available to own this training market, but will never be able to successfully create a true professional in sustainability. Mediocrity is not sustainable.

What does it take to produce real-world sustainability professionals?
How about real world experience? Leading Edge research? Advanced technologies? Modern application of proven ancient methods? How about access to live, up to the minute information and products?

Could it also take a body of committed people that are passionate about changing the world around them for the better? People willing to get out there and effect positive change? People who understand what creates wealth and health in all their forms? That is what we do. We are Padma Gonpo, Inc. and we want to be your go-to professional resource for sustainability and green living. Some of our competitors say that we are the “new face on the block” because our corporation was formed in April 2008. What they won’t tell you is that Dr. Paul McDowell and his associates have been creating the sustainability industry through advanced corporate strategies for the last 25 years. My individual knowledge of this industry, and the connected industries that relate to it far surpasses their opinions and hastily created “expert status”. I know exactly what the larger blueprint for this industry looks like and who, how and when the different elements need to be brought together.

Together, we can release the potential around us and build a better, sustainable world. You have an opportunity to be part of this. Please feel free to contact me for more information: info@padmagonpoinc.com
